Unemployed Bursaries

Unemployed bursaries are offered to learners who have been accepted to study at accredited institutions of higher learning (post school learning). These learners must not be employed fulltime and they must be enrolled for a career related to the transport sector either on fulltime or on part-time bases - Aviation Training and Diving Programmes are also included.

Applicants must satisfy the minimum entry criteria when applying for the bursary (failure to meet all the requirements leads to the disqualification of applications);

TETA
 

TETA was established in terms of the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998 (SDA). It is a public entity that reports to the Minister of Higher Education and Training and operates under the oversight of National Treasury in terms of performance management and financial administration. TETA is a Sector Education Training Authority (SETA) responsible for skills development in the transport sector.
